A Field Day has been set for Thursday, June 16, at the Clifton Marek Ranch located at 1174 CR 451, just off FM 3403 (Doak Springs Road), south of Lexington.  Registration will begin at 9:30 am with the opening speaker starting at 9:45 am.

The program, “Integrating Proper Grazing Management and Post Land Treatment”, will feature Stephen Deiss, Rangeland Management Specialist, Natural Resources Conservation Services.   The program will also include a tour of the Ranch and Marek’s mob grazing system currently in place. 

The program will be hosted by Lee County Soil and Water District (LCSWD), along with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Lee County.  A noon meal will be served following a brief award program acknowledging Mr. Marek’s achievements.  There is not cost for the Field Day or the meal.
