Texas Girls' State Fair 2008

Dear Texas Chamber of Commerce Members:

Do you know of girls between the ages of 10 and 18 who have won a top a ward in your community? Girls who have represented your area who are winners? The Women's Museum: An Institute for the Future, located in Dallas , Texas , is looking for your assistance! This is an opportunity for these girls, and your city or chamber, to be recognized during the State Fair of Texas!

Every year The Women's Museum sponsors the Texas Girls' State Fair held during the State Fair of Texas. Over the last 2 years over 150 girls have been recognized and showcased at the Museum for their talents, performed live on stage and showed off their writings, art work, and even their robots!

The Women's Museum invites girls of the Lone Star State who have received top honors in: Science, Math, Music, Dance, Drama, Writing, Sports, Cheerleading, National award winners, and more to participate in the 2008 Texas Girls' State Fair.

Educational scholarships will be awarded for the top submissions. Smiles, recognition, the building of self confidence, and dreams fulfilled for today and tomorrow are all part of this special award.

Registration deadline is May 1, 2008. We are including a set of paperwork that you may copy or email for distribution.
