We are inching closer to the weekend and that makes us very happy. We want you to know about some things that are coming up this weekend.

Congratulations to the Lady Buffs as they travel on Friday to Navasota for the Playoffs. Meet us downtown at the corner of Hwy 290 and 77 for the send off at 2:45pm. See the attachment.

Also this weekend the MS150 Bicycle Race is coming to our area. They have Fayette County Fairgrounds set up for the Austin Area race. Please use caution as you travel in the area. 

Early Voting is being held at City Hall in Council Chambers. Only City Council is on the ballot. 

We will gather at Veteran's Park at noon to pray. The public is invited.

We won the best community event in the Texas Travel Awards for Freedom Fest!
